Introduction to Trousers

Now that you have successfully laid, cut, and mark stitched your cloth, it is time to start tailoring the trousers.

Trousers provide a nice introduction to hand tailoring garments.  Out of the three pieces, they are the easiest to tailor.  A fair amount of the construction is done by machine, so the effort put forth can be enjoyed very quickly.  Trousers are a great introduction to the tailoring process, they will help you become familiar with the proper steps and sequence for executing them.  They also introduce a variety of hand stitches, giving the you the opportunity to develop your skills before moving on to more complex areas.
